What We Treat
Sound Disorders
This can include issues with pronouncing individual sounds, as well as larger patterns of speech that are affecting your child’s communication. Some children may struggle with leaving off the ends of words or switching sounds around in words. We understand that as a parent, this can be concerning or confusing. We are here to help your child develop their speech proficiency and overcome any speech difficulties they may be facing.
Language Disorders
We work with children who may have trouble understanding or using language effectively. This can include difficulties with understanding what others are saying, or having trouble expressing themselves in a way that others can understand. We know that this can be frustrating for both children and parents, but we're here to help. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have concerns about your child's language skills.
Disfluency
If your child is experiencing disruptions in the smooth flow of their speech, such as sound or word repetitions, prolongations, or blocks, our speech team can help. Although common to an extent, these types of interruptions can become frustrating and impact a child's confidence. We are well-equipped to work with your child and improve their speech fluency, so they can communicate more effectively.
